What BrandMeister is
BrandMeister is a DMR network with servers in many countries. A call on a talkgroup reaches everyone listening to it, wherever they are.
The app uses your DMR ID and a hotspot password you choose in your BrandMeister account, and every server in its BrandMeister list is ready for the app to use.

New to Unified Radios? Create a free account and pair the app first. Sign up with your callsign and we bring in your DMR ID, which every digital mode uses. You can also start without a callsign and add both later.
Choose a hotspot password
In BrandMeister SelfCare, set a hotspot password. It is separate from the password you sign in with.
Save it in the portal
On your User Portal profile, choose Edit Credentials, enter it for BrandMeister and press Validate BrandMeister.
Pick and talk
In the app, choose BrandMeister, a server and a talkgroup, then press Push to Talk.
BrandMeister voice and both lists are free. A subscription adds memories that sync with the User Portal, and the live call log with each caller on a map. Compare plans.
Monitors and private calls
Add up to four monitor talkgroups beside the one you talk on. Tap a call to switch to its talkgroup and reply there. Caller names and cities come from the DMR ID database kept on your device.
Private calls go to one operator by DMR ID: start one from the connect screen or a caller's card, and call back when someone calls you.

Which BrandMeister password goes in the portal?
The hotspot password you set in BrandMeister SelfCare. Save it under Edit Credentials and press Validate BrandMeister.
What if the password is rejected?
Check that the portal and BrandMeister SelfCare hold the same hotspot password, then validate it again.
Which talkgroup does the app start on?
Talkgroup 91, Worldwide, the first time. After that, the talkgroup you last used.
Does BrandMeister cost anything in the app?
BrandMeister voice and its lists are free with every account.
