The amateur radio app

Your whole radio world, in one app.

Talk on DMR, D-STAR, System Fusion, P25 and M17 over the internet, free, or on FM and DMR through your radio's own RF module. Find repeaters, track satellites, check propagation and see who is on the air, all in one place.

Android phones, tablets and supported hardware. Network voice is free. A subscription adds memory sync, the live call log, Community, Satellites and Propagation.

Programming, the easy way

No codeplugs. No programming software. No spreadsheets. No cables. Just a website and an app.

Forget building and loading codeplugs. Your channels, zones and talkgroups are set up in the app or on the website, with FM, DMR and network channels together in the same zone. They sync to your radios, and the app programs the radio for you.

  • Edit memories from your phone or from any browser.
  • Mix FM, DMR and network channels in one zone.
  • Picking a channel in the app sets up the radio's module for it.

Memory editing and sync are part of a subscription. See plans.

Modes

Every mode you want to work, side by side.

Network voice is free and works straight from the app, with no hotspot. On a supported radio, FM and DMR go out through the radio's own RF module.

  • DMR

Talkgroups on the big networks, by internet or through your radio's RF module.

BrandMeister, TGIF, DMR+, ADN, AmComm, HamUnited and more

  • D-STAR

Reflectors picked from a maintained list, with no addresses to hunt for.

    DCS and REF reflectors

  • System Fusion

Connect to YSF reflectors without hunting for addresses.

What sets it apart

Built for how operators actually use a radio.

Repeater directory

A built-in repeater directory, kept up to date.

FM and DMR repeaters near you, nearest first. Licensed members can add repeaters, correct entries and add talkgroups, and every change is logged.

Memories

FM, DMR and network channels in one zone.

Keep your local FM repeater, your DMR repeater and a talkgroup on the internet side by side in the same zone, and switch with one tap.

Networks

Servers and talkgroups you never have to look up.

The app carries maintained server and talkgroup lists for each network, refreshed every day. Pick a network, the nearest server and a talkgroup from a list.

One app

RF module and network modes together.

Use the radio's own FM and DMR, then switch to DMR, D-STAR, System Fusion, P25 or M17 on the network, without changing apps.

Free

Free network voice: no hotspot needed.

Connect to the networks you love right from the app, on every network mode. No hotspot needed.

Satellites

Passes with transmitter frequencies.

Pass lists, a sky plot, Doppler-corrected frequencies and pass alerts. On a supported radio, one tap tunes an FM satellite.

Propagation

Band conditions and local weather.

Solar indices, HF and VHF band conditions, tropo and sporadic E, plus weather from the station nearest you.

Call log

Who called, from where, on a map.

Every call shows the name, city, distance and where the position came from: APRS, DMR GPS or a Unified Radios member.

Community

See who is on, worldwide.

Operators online, their network and talkgroup, friends with online alerts and a map. Tap Join to follow them.

Repeater directory

A repeater directory is included, and the community makes it better.

Open Repeaters and see what is around you: FM and DMR, VHF and UHF, nearest first, with tones, offsets, color codes and the talkgroups on each timeslot. Tap Tune to go there, or Save to Memory to keep it.

  • Add an FM repeater that is missing, or correct one that is wrong.
  • Add talkgroups to a DMR repeater.
  • Flag a deletion that looks wrong. Changes are logged and can be reversed.
  • Editing needs a subscription and a verified callsign. Browsing is free.

Memories

One zone, any mix of FM, DMR and network channels.

A zone is just a list you name. Put your simplex frequency, your local DMR repeater and a talkgroup on the internet in the same zone, each marked FM, DMR or IP. Search across every zone, move channels between zones, and keep them in step across your devices.

  • A three-step editor for each kind of channel.
  • Save a repeater, or a satellite's frequencies, to memory in one tap.
  • Memories sync with your account.

Satellites

Work the next pass with the numbers in front of you.

Browse the catalog, star your favorites and see the next passes for where you are. The tracker draws the sky plot, counts down to the pass and shows the Doppler-corrected receive and transmit frequencies as the satellite moves.

  • Filters for amateur FM, linear, weather, the space station and CubeSats.
  • Pass alerts a few minutes before a starred satellite rises.
  • Point mode helps you aim with the phone's compass; Simulate previews the pass.
  • On a supported radio, Tune sets the radio for an FM satellite.

Propagation and weather

Know what the bands are doing before you key up.

One screen shows the solar indices, HF band conditions by day and night, 6 meter sporadic E, VHF and UHF tropo ducting, and the weather from the station nearest you, with the raw report a tap away.

Community and call log

See who is on, and who just called.

Community lists operators online right now, with their network, talkgroup, distance and bearing. Add friends and get an alert when they come online. The call log keeps every call with the name, city and the source of the position (APRS, DMR GPS or a Unified Radios member), and one tap joins their talkgroup, starts a private call or shows them on the map.
