What P25 is
P25 (Project 25) is a digital radio standard used in amateur radio too. Calls go to talkgroups. Over the internet, amateur P25 stations meet on P25 reflectors: servers that link everyone connected to them on one talkgroup.
In Unified Radios, P25 runs over the internet, straight from the app, on any Android phone or tablet and on supported radios. The app links with the callsign on your account and sends the DMR ID on your profile as your P25 radio ID.

- Choose P25 in the network list, then a reflector: search by name, number or place.
- The reflector's talkgroup is set for you: its number is part of the reflector's name.
- Press Push to Talk. The radio face shows who is talking.

Do I need a P25 radio or a hotspot?
The app connects to P25 reflectors itself, over Wi-Fi or cellular, from an Android phone, tablet or supported radio.
How do talkgroups work on P25 reflectors?
Each reflector in the list carries one talkgroup, and its number is part of the reflector's name. Picking the reflector picks the talkgroup.
Which ID does the app send?
The app sends the DMR ID on your profile as your P25 radio ID, with the callsign on your account.
Can I keep my favorite reflectors?
Yes, with a subscription: save them as memories beside your FM and DMR channels, synced with the User Portal.
